Oystercatcher Chopping Board – Sandra Vick This beautiful Oystercatcher chopping board features artist Sandra Vick’s black and white design of oystercatchers. Although depicted here in monochrome, oystercatchers’ smart black and white plumage is set off by bright orangey red legs and bills. Its call evokes mysterious moorland, and its wingspan is an impressive 30-odd inches! The Oystercatcher chopping board is made of melamine and shows the oystercatcher design on one side and a wood effect on the reverse which is the chopping surface. Part of Sandra’s ‘names’ collection, on its decorative side this chopping board includes the Oystercatcher’s latin name – Haematopus ostralegus – as well as the many other monikers by which it is known!
