Lethbridge Allegra Chardonnay​ This is a Chardonnay that leans into detail and patience. Sourced from the historic Rebenberg Vineyard, with vines over 35 years old, it’s built from low yields and careful handling rather than chasing volume or immediate appeal. Everything in the winemaking points in the same direction. Whole bunch pressing, wild fermentation, full malolactic and time in new French oak, followed by extended ageing on lees. It’s a layered approach, but the result doesn’t feel heavy. Instead, it creates a wine that holds both richness and tension at the same time. On the palate, it moves between those two worlds. There’s creaminess, spice and depth, but also a clear line of acidity that keeps it focused.
