For external use only, avoid any contact with eyes. Always use sunscreen for best results. To build up your skin tolerance, retinol should be gradually phased in. For new users apply twice a week for around two weeks before gradually increasing the frequency of application until it is applied nightly. Retinol can make the skin somewhat sensitive to sunlight, apply a sunscreen to the skin to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage to your skin if using Retinol.
