Description Composition: Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4 mg/5 ml): An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, reducing allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (10 mg/5 ml): A cough suppressant that reduces the activity of the brain’s cough center, alleviating dry cough. Indications: Alkof DX Syrup is primarily used for: Relieving dry cough. Alleviating symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections. Managing allergic rhinitis. Dosage & Administration: Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 ml every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours. Children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using a proper measuring device. It can be taken with or without food.
