A good Victorian copper warming pan in great original condition. Well used and with a good patina. Well used and with a good patina the front lid has been lacquered and will now only need a dust down to maintain it’s polish. Used to warm the bed by filled with the dying embers from the coal fire. Not sure it would pass health and safety today but they were in strong use from the 17th century up until approx 1900.
