While Scandinavian style often leans toward minimalism, Wiinblad went in the opposite direction—embracing colour, ornamentation, and joyful expression. His work is instantly recognisable: whimsical faces, hand‑drawn lines, rich patterns, and a playful, almost fairy‑tale universe.Wiinblad’s creativity knew no limits. He created ceramics, posters, theatre scenography, costumes, tapestries, and large‑scale decorations across the world.
